摘要：物流业是我国国民经济中的一个重要产业，仓储业作为现代物流业的重要组成部分，当仓储业作为一个业态存在的时候，物流是其实现增值服务的有效手段；而在物流业中，仓储是其不可或缺的一个重要节点。虽然它在我国的发展历程比较短，但是它广阔的发展前景和巨大的市场潜力仍被许多人看好。目前，我国企业对第三方物流的需求主要集中在传统的仓储和运输上。针对这一物流新趋势而提出了物流仓储业发展趋势的研究课题。由于我国现代物流业发展已跨越“起步期”，迈入理性、务实、快速发展的新阶段，所以研究此课题对将来的就业或创业有着极其重要引导的作用。
本文从仓储的概念谈起，分析了仓储在现代物流系统中的必要性和发展潜力。并针对当前我国仓储业发展的现状，提出了所需要的一系列改善，以及可能的趋势调整。
